Sales & Marketing Manager required for a long-established specialist electronics company in Northern Johannesburg.

This highly reputable company is the sole sub-Saharan distributors for a range of laser, material handling, factory automation, seismic, bar-coding, scanning, PLC, positioning and similar industrial equipment.

They are now looking for a very experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to pioneer a new distributed sales model and recruit and manage an effective reseller channel.

Salary and conditions are highly negotiable for this very senior position

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a tertiary technical and sales & marketing qualification
• Have quite extensive experience with industrial positioning, volume measurement and bulk materials handling processes or within a similar industry.
• Know the South African dealer market
• Have a sound background in channel (reseller) management
• Be prepared to travel throughout South Africa & neighbouring states
• Be able to work of own initiative and implement new methodologies
