Our client, a large generic pharmaceutical company, has a vacancy in KZN for a Specialist HIV representative.



Minimum Requirements

·         2 yrs experience as a Detail Sales Representative. ·         Matric is essential.·         Paramedic / Nursing qualification or equivalent tertiary education required.·         Experience with ARVs and/or Respiratory products and/or  HIV patients and/or Antibiotics would be an added advantage. ·         Good communication skills; proficiency in English.·         Driver\\\'s license essential.  

 

Purpose of Position:

 To ensure effective productivity on territory level by managing the customer relationship base and communication information.  Comprehending the requirements for future growth change, stability and business prosperity.

 Main Duties

  • To effectively manage the territory. Territory covers whole of KwaZulu-Natal i.e. Richards Bay to Port Edward as well as inland to Newcastle.
  • To maintain and generate constant sales from Pharmacies on both generic and ethical ranges which is made up of Company\\\'s ARV and HIV related products.
  • Providing ongoing customer support.
  • Add value to an entrepreneurial climate.
  • Achieve sales targets and market share objectives.
  • Effective territory expense management and control.
  • Manage key customer sales and effective relationship management.
  • Tracking of market share.
  • Taking Orders
  • Effective Implementation of cycle strategy
  • Arranging CPD activities

 Other Key Responsibilities:

 Financial

  • Effective asset and resource management as well as utilization for effective cost management
  • Annual and monthly sales performance within product basket
  • Area variance and performance as per Powerplay reports
  • Monthly tracking of Profit analysis versus Actual sales
  • Monitoring of own hand sales tracking and performance per territory as per target audience or key customer

 Customer Service

  • All queries are followed up and resolved in the shortest possible time
  • A professional attitude is displayed when attending to a customer\\\'s needs.

 Admin and Planning

  • Mediate, summarize, gain consensus, stimulate creative debate and focus to initiate customer service plan
  • Maintain focus on process and customer outputs
  • Provide context, information and structure for customers

 Time and Route Management

  • In field reports
  • Data management
  • CPD implementation
  • Monthly reports and cost control
  • Qualitative measurements
  • Grid planning and realignment

 Skills

  • Product knowledge on both company and competitor products.
  • Effective territory management.
  • Knowledge of basic financial calculation i.e. Gross Margins, mark-ups and % discount.
  • Analyzing of IMS data.
  • Very strong communication skills.
  • Administration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Commercial awareness and acumen.
