As Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for the business development and the implementation of new training courses on matters related to ARV supply chain management.

ARV Access for Africa is a not for profit organization focused on the improvement of access to quality healthcare services in developing countries, by means of the management of a buffer stock of ARVs, training in supply chain management and capacity building. For our ARV buffer stock division we are now looking for a self-starting Training Coordinator.

Qualifications and Experience
ARV Access for Africa is a not for profit organization focused on the improvement of access to quality healthcare services in developing countries, by means of the management of a buffer stock of ARVs, training in supply chain management and capacity building. For our ARV buffer stock division we are now looking for a self-starting Training Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and develop training courses
- Coordinate training programmes by means of service provider management, revision of course material and customizing of training materials
- Proactively network with potential donors and strategic partners as to position training products in the market
- Coordinate and implement effective promotion and marketing strategies
- Coordinate the commercial follow up on training participant enquiries
- Supervise the training admin department (2 FTE)
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Health Sciences
- Minimum 3 years experience with pharmaceutical procurement and/or supply chain
Management is a must - Excellent knowledge about HIV/AIDS treatment schedules and ARV products
- Experience with training development, marketing and facilitation
- Experience with donor funded projects is an advantage
- Ability to (occasionally) travel within sub-Sahara Africa
- Entrepreneurial spirit and hands on aproach
- Able to perform in a small team with diverse cultural backgrounds
Remuneration:
Market related base salary dependant on skills and experience.
Note that this is a contracted position until 01 January 2011, with the intention to renew afterwards
