Provide support for FIT business solution and more specifically the data quality brand and associated initiatives for information effectiveness, production and delivery.

Purpose:

Perform requirements and data profiling and quality analysis

• Emphasis on gathering of requirements and translation of requirements into a business process, data warehouse content and information output specifications
• Business Process and Information Requirements gathering (Understanding the business requirements and develop the Business Requirements Specification, Technical Business Process and Information Requirements (URS / FRS) and obtain sign-off from all parties)
• Transform key business rules into data quality solutions that promotes consistency and reuse
• Maintaining, enhancing, designing, developing an implementing and testing change to the data quality environment / solution
• SDLC and Business and Systems Development Relationship Management from a requirements and prioritization perspective.
• Works closely with source system owners and data base administrators to design, validate and approve design of data quality solutions from an use requirements satisfaction point of view
• Document the processes and information / data / content structures. Work with Enterprise Architecture methodologies and toolsets
• Assess impact of business requirements on the AS-IS state as input to impact Analysis
• Document TO-BE recommendation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitating scoping sessions with a clear mandate of defining and agreeing project scope

• Assessing, Analyzing, Optimizing and Documenting end-to end business processes and information requirements in collaboration with the business (AS-IS and TO-BE)
• Extract business rules (process, information and data)
• Translate business requirements into data warehouse content quality and information output requirements
• Documenting business process requirements through research, interviews or facilitation sessions.
• Assessing current business processes, procedures and business rules
• Execution of source to target mapping and translation of data requirements to align with data warehouse and quality solution design and content structure
• Define, extract and document metadata and data quality output requirements
• Ensuring that modeling content (grammar and notation) are according to design principles and methodology
• Communications to key stakeholders and the required stakeholder sign off has been obtained.
• Define and document test cases / packs with clear logic and outcomes in mind
• Executing test cases and providing written feedback (improvement, optimization, correction) relating to progress and categorizing high medium and low business impact
• Providing information which contributes to building training manuals / material
• Interacting and maintaining good relationships with business stakeholders (business users, change management resources, architects, developers, testing and training teams) , across the Fit internal and external value chain as required
• Providing guidance and support to team members (knowledge sharing and team approach is a high priority)
• Perform a quality assurance role with peers, subject matter experts, architects and mentors
• Managing expectations and communicating regularly with business stakeholders i.e. progress with regards to the user requirement / functional specification and processes
• Provide regular feedback to Project and Line Manager where relevant
• Escalating issues so that delivery timeframes are not compromised
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve the process (internally and business)
• Provide content to update all knowledge and standards and policy documentation to ensure currency and relevancy
• Ensuring adherence to methodologies and standardsas required for business , analysis, modeling / representation effort and documentation
