Commercial Contracts Manager
Minimum qualifications:
● A relevant tertiary qualifi cation in Engineering, Management Accounting or Commercial Law
● 10 years’ technical experience in the mining industry supported by commercial knowledge
Functional skills:

● Advanced infl uencing and negotiation skills
● Advanced understanding of commercial law and principles
● Advanced knowledge and understanding of research and analysing processes, tools and techniques

The position is accountable for:
● Leading and managing the commercial contract activity for Implats
● Building relationships with suppliers and operations
● Being a steward of procurement compliance and providing expert guidance to Procurement Steering Committees
● Driving the competitive advantage in all commercial dealings through effective application of leading-edge procurement practices in an integrated business environment
● Designing, developing and implementing (in conjunction with business unit stakeholders) procurement processes for assigned commodities and services that deliver the customer’s needs on time in a controlled environment
