Bojanala Platinum District Municipality has vacancies for suitably qualified, highly motivated and dynamic persons within the Community Development Services Directorate, to be filled on a permanent basis.

Environmental Epidemiology Officer

Salary: R200 316 plus R4 524 non-pensionable allowance per annum until 30 June 2010 (Level 05 of Grade 10 Municipality)

Key responsibilities: Plan, direct and conduct studies concerned with incidence of disease in the community and public establishments.

Requirements: ● Postgraduate degree in Environmental Health or equivalent ● Willingness to travel within and beyond the District’s borders ● Expected to work extended hours ● Experience in various epidemiology study designs ● Code 08 driver’s licence.
