Develop and implement the law enforcement system within the District Municipality.

Bojanala Platinum District Municipality has vacancies for suitably qualified, highly motivated and dynamic persons within the Community Development Services Directorate, to be filled on a permanent basis.

Law Enforcement Officer

Salary: R200 216 plus R4 524 non-pensionable allowance per annum until 30 June 2010 (Level 05 of Grade 10 Municipality)

Key responsibilities: ● Develop and implement the law enforcement system within the District Municipality ● Support Health Offi cers during Environmental Health investigation processes, as prescribed by relevant legislation.

Requirements: ● Diploma/degree in Administrative Law Enforcement ● Willingness to travel witin and beyond the District ● Expected to work extended hours ● 3 years’ experience in Law Enforcement, especially in management of the Environmental Health System ● Ability to work under pressure ● Code 08 driver’s licence ● Knowledge of applicable legislation.
