Bojanala Platinum District Municipality has vacancies for suitably qualified, highly motivated and dynamic persons within the Community Development Services Directorate, to be filled on a permanent basis.

Fire and Emergency Services

Trainee Firefighters
(Kgetleng & Mogwase Fire Stations)

Salary: R80 304 plus R1 812 non-pensionable allowance per annum until 30 June 2010

Key responsibilities: ● Manage and operate emergency vehicles ● Respond to fire and rescue incidents ● Perform other community service work, when required ● Work on a four-shift system and perform certain standby duties.

Requirements: ● Matric (Grade 12) ● Code C driver’s licence (Codes EC1 and EC will be added advantages) ● Planning and organising skills ● Excellent communication skills ● Time management skills.
