income generation, capacity building of CBOs and local NGOs and efforts to improve local governance.

CARE South Africa is looking for motivated self starters to fill the following vacancies;

Provincial Coordinator – Eastern Cape

The Provincial Coordinator plays a key role in building and maintaining partnerships between CARE and its implementing partners in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu Natal Provinces; as well as other key stakeholders in the field of care, support, poverty alleviation and economic empowerment of Care givers of Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC). The incumbent will also support the DELL implementing partners in operationalizing the objectives of the programme as well as submission of required reports. The Provincial Coordinator will manage the implementation of the project within the provinces and a small team of provincial staff.

Minimum requirements are: • A degree in Social Science or Public Health or Management • A minimum of 5 years working experience in the field of child care, palliative care or community development in any related sector (government, private or NGO sector). • Previous work experience on HIV/AIDS related issues especially related to the care, support and general development of OVC. • Computer literacy, proficiency in EXCEL, preferably advanced • Knowledge of the local language is a requirement • Must be in possession of valid driver’s licence.
