The incumbent will be responsible for implementing the Voluntary Savings & Loans component of the project, in liaison with partner organisations,focusing particularly on the needs of children and families affected by HIV/AIDS.

income generation, capacity building of CBOs and local NGOs and efforts to improve local governance.

CARE South Africa is looking for motivated self starters to fill the following vacancies;

Voluntary Savings & Loans (VSL) Facilitator – Eastern Cape

The incumbent will be responsible for implementing the Voluntary Savings & Loans component of the project, in liaison with partner organisations,focusing particularly on the needs of children and families affected by HIV/AIDS; S/he will have particular responsibility for supervising and mentoring the partners’ VSL field staff.and liaise with the Provincial Coordinator on monitoring & evaluation processes and promoting learning from the project activities.

Minimum requirements are: • Diploma in development studies, business management or Economics; • At lease 2 years experience with development projects and the CSO sector, preferably with experience in the HIV/AIDS field; • Developed community facilitation skills; • Knowledge experience with microsavings, loans, economic empowerment strategies etc; • Experience with M&E systems.
