The Administrator will provide administrative and data entry support for Programme project activities falling under CARE projects in the province.



CARE is one of the world’s leading humanitarian organizations. Its current focus is on women and girls.
It manages and supports programs related to HIV/AIDS and health care, voluntary savings and loans,
income generation, capacity building of CBOs and local NGOs and efforts to improve local governance.

CARE South Africa is looking for motivated self starters to fill the following vacancies;

Administrator/Data Capturer – Eastern Cape

The Administrator will provide administrative and data entry support for Programme project activities falling under CARE projects in the province. The position holder will be expected to provide a link between the projects and CARE South Africa admin and finance departments. These will include; filing, maintaining leave records for programme employees, writing letters and reports as requested, data entry using the available formats, arranging travel and accommodation logistics, preparing and arranging training venues as necessary for project activities, preparing procurement requests for required resources, and maintaining accurate petty cash. The position holder will also be responsible for encouraging the efficient use of office resources and maintaining the offices in a presentable state.

Minimum requirements are: • A Certificate in business management or administration, or equivalent qualification; • A minimum of 2 years experience working in administrative support; • Basic skills in budgeting and management of data; • Computer literacy; Word & Excel is essential;
