Medical Officers Gr I - III (MO-1-MO-3) (2 Posts)

Salary: Grade I: R365 217 - R411 411 per annum
Grade II: R423 846 - R423 846 per annum
Grade III: R491 892 - R579 420 per annum
(All-inclusive remuneration packages. The inclusive remuneration packages consist of a basic salary, the
Government’s contribution to the Government Employee Pension Fund and a flexible portion, and are

Mofumahadi Manapo Mopeli Regional Hospital, QwaQwa

Requirements:

Medical Officer Grade I:

• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Medical Practitioner
• Proof of HPCSA receipt for the current year.
  

Medical Officer Grade II:

• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Medical Practitioner
  
• Proof of HPCSA receipt for the current year
• A minimum of 5 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Officer after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner.
  

Medical Officer Grade III:

• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Medical Practitioner
• Proof of HPCSA receipt for the current year
• A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate experience as Medical Officer after registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner.
  

Recommendation: South African qualified Medical Officers.

Duties:

• Provide appropriate clinical services as needed and required by the Hospital through proper patient assessment, diagnosis, investigation and treatment
  
• Refer or receive patients according to the Free State Referral System
  
• Promote, support and participate in relevant programmes aimed at improving the quality of hospital services in general
  
• Plan, manage and co-ordinate patient care activities between wards and other sections in the Hospital
  
• Support the Free State Department of Health in its endeavours to realise its vision of a healthy and self-reliant Free State community
  
• Assist the Chief Medical Officer with Clinical Administration.
  

Note: Salaries will be determined by qualifications and experience according to the Occupation-specific Dispensation for
Medical Officers.
