One of SA\'s largest Entertainment Agencies, based in CAPE TOWN, is currently looking for an Entertainment Booking Agent & PR Assistant

The ideal candidate will have the following essential attributes:

1. Prior experience working in an Entertainment Agency, or other relevant experience in the entertainment industry

2. General Music & other entertainment background

3. Working knowledge of and interest in the South African entertainment scene

4. Experience working in a corporate office environment

5. Excellent telephone skills

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

7. Working knowledge of mathematics and basic financial skills

8. Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook email and Word Processing

9. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task

10. An outgoing, creative personality

11. Fully proficient in English, with an additional language an added advantage

12. Reliable transport for central Cape Town office environment

Additional beneficial skills include:

1. Knowledge of the Media

2. Knowledge of Advertising and PR

3. Experience in dealing with Media and PR-related bodies

4. Working knowledge of both popular and classical music, as well as other artforms

Remuneration negotiable. The chosen candidate will attend a 1-month training and hand-over period and then be appointed from 1 May 2010.
