A leading company seeks a candidate to help assist in the Design, development and maintenance of all in-house applications and be the first line of support for all IT related issues experienced by the Research department within the company whilst working

REQUIREMENTS

    -Qualifications:

• BSC Computer Science, B.Com Informatics or relevant Diploma
• Mathematical/Financial ability advantageous

 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• An understanding of Business Analysis
• Good understanding of the different development methodologies
• Good understanding of the system development life cycle
• Experience with Project Methodologies - PRINCE2
• Worked in a multi-project environment
• Knowledge of broader Financial Markets
• 2 to 3 years of work experience required as a Developer
• Work experience in Investment banking and exposure to trading systems are advantageous

 SPECIAL SKILLS

• Primary skills: C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET
• Technical Competencies in the following technologies:
• C#.Net, SQL
• ADO, ADO.net
