Labour Relations Officer - Johannesburg

The Society for Family Health (SFH), an NGO responsible for the manufacturing of the leading condoms in the market, requires a person with a National Diploma inLabour Relations or equivalent qualifi cation, which is enhanced by a minimum of 2-3 years’ previous work experience in a similar position. Profi ciency in offi cial SA languages is also required.

Duties: Case Management: ● Co-ordinate, control and monitor labour employee relations ● Co-ordinate disciplinary and grievance cases and attend such ● Guide the employer on appropriate action in labour-related matters. Case Presentation:
Facilitate and prepare cases that have been referred to the CCMA for conciliation and arbitration. Training and Guidance: Provide practical training and guidance to Management on procedures and applications associated with specific Employment
Relations processes. Communication: Communicate information relating to interventions, practices, procedures and policies. Reports/Correspondence: ● Prepare reports on disciplinary/grievance cases referred and attend to outlining outcomes ● Record and prepare minutes of disciplinary enquiries and transcript documents thereafter ● Update and maintain the Industrial Relations policy and procedure manuals ● Induct and orientate employees in Labour/Employee Relations.
