Dynamic Johannesburg based company looking for a talented Perl Developer with excellent scripting skills, to work in a development team/ production environment. Expert level Perl programming skills required.

DUTIES:
1. Maintain web applications.
2. Application support of existing production web based PERL applications.
3. Work alongside Application Programmers to integrate application code into websites and web applications.
4. Evaluation of user requirements.
5. Meeting with Management or peers to discuss requirements.
6. Development of PERL web interfaces.
7. Liaison with colleagues for other specific coding requirements.


REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum of 3 years PERL programming experience.
2. Highly motivated and confident individual.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
5. Good problem-solving skills.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Good understanding of the web and related interfaces and technologies.

EXPERIENCE:
1. SQL programming web related experience.
2. Perl Scripting web related experience.
3. Java Scripting web related experience.
4. HTML and CSS coding web related experience.
5. XML experience.
6. General Linux experience.
7. General Unix Shell Scripting.
