Technical Dept

Main Duties:

Scrap analysis, audit of tyre contractor responsibilities.

Manage and control service schedules for truck tractors

Trailer maintenance and repairs in conjunction with manufacturer\'s standards must be managed.

Oversee quality of work done by staff and suppliers

Management of compressor maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer requirements

Ensure fleet image is maintained according to company standards.

Housekeeping with regard to the technical workshop, washbay and yard.

Storeroom Management and control

Monitor all technical aspects for Company\'s fleet (Delmas, N/C and Aries)

COF Management

Workshop Admin Management in terms of Job cards, Service Schedules, Expenditure, Communication with BUL\'s vehicle records, timesheets, issuing and authorising orders according to procedures.

Do subcontractor vehicle inspections

Identify driver abuse and communicate it to BUL or other key managers with a technical report.

Any other duty requested from time to time

Position requirements&Qualifications:
 

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Approx. 5 year Technical knowledge (with tanker and trailer knowledge)
• Prepared to work shift and/or long hours
• Valid drivers license (Code 14 will be advantage)
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• Computer literacy especially Excel
• Knowledge of Workshop and stores procedures
• Knowledge to manage staff (Discipline)
