KEY RESULT AREAS

• Effective documentation of applications and processes that the Production IT area are responsible for
• Maintenance and improve existing documentation
• Create and maintain the required relationships with partners, the Company and the various vendors that provide IT services to the company.
• Follow the change control process and methodology as prescribed by the IT Manager
• Actively manage and deliver on projects as per the IT Programme of work using PRINCE2 methodology
• Assist with the IT component to all Facility related issues
• User support
• Problem resolution
• Log all issues, incidents and enhancements on the PELT system
• Provide reporting to the IT Manager
• Assist with the maintenance of the Disaster Recovery site and ensure that it meets with Audit requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• MCSE / A or similar qualification
• Bsc Computer Science, Bcom Informatics
• The above qualifications would be ideal, however, MSCD\'s, MCAD\'s and other relevant National diplomas will be considered
• Mathematical/Financial ability advantageous

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Morning checks of ALL Vendor applications
• Ensure successful backup for ALL Company business applications and servers
• Maintain ALL IT Fixed Assets (ensure fixed assets register is kept updated Laptops, Desktops, Blackberries, 3G Cards)
• Telephones Support
• Disaster Recovery Support including documentation
• Production Change Control
• System Administration of ALL systems (eg: update of RIC codes, housekeeping tasks)
• Partner liaison on production issues
• Support applications
• Support on Company Infrastructure
• Excellent understanding of networks and infrastructure
• Experience with Project Methodologies- eg. PRINCE2
• Worked in multi-project environment
• Knowledge of broader Financial Markets and related Technology
• 5 to 6 years of work experience in Investment banking and exposure to trading systems are necessary
• Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment
