Qualifications and experience

-BSc Computer Science and Information Systems

-Min 5 years work experience

-Financial Service background

Purpose of the job

-Systems development and maintenance

Key Responsibilities

Maintain database stability for production

Maintenance and enhancement of ETL programs

Schedule and execute Production runs and other daily deliverables

Ensures documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Ensures appropriate communication to all key stakeholders takes place.

Knowledge

Expert level knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (min. 3 years)

Ability to develop advanced algorithms with associated pseudo code and high quality PL/SQL code.

Adequate knowledge and ability to perform DBA tasks in Oracle

Ability to code optimally in Visual C

Knowledge of Toad or PL/SQL Developer

Windows Operating System

Knowledge of Modelling methods and relational database theory

Development of ETL applications from source systems
