Front Office Cashier Required – Top 5* Hotel, Cape Town My client is looking for an experienced Cashier to join the team at this very prestigious hotel in Cape Town . Duties will include: · Preparing and carrying out guest checkout as well as fulfil any guest requirements which pertain to money · Assist with couriering items as and when required · Being an important and efficient link between the guests and other hotel departments · Reporting into a Front of House Manager or Assistant Manager in their absence For this role, the ideal candidate will require: Proven abilities in: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels · Outstanding communication and interpersonal skils · Experienced in Property Management Systems ie. Fidelio Opera, Ms Word, Excel advantageous · Developing and nurturing interpersonal relationships (guests, suppliers and colleagues) · Willingness to serve · Cashier and managing a float A Hospitality Management diploma / degree will be advantageous Person Specification: - Previous experience in the hospitality and tourism industry and they must be proficient in the English command - Strong organisational, planning and administration skills - A real self starter - Ability to work under pressure - Enjoy anticipating and exceeding guest expectations If this sounds like the role that you are looking for and you have the relevant experience, I would love to hear from you!
