ASSISTANT NIGHT MANAGER – 5* HOTEL, WATERFRONT My client is looking for an Assistant Night manager to join the team at one of Cape Town’s top hotels! The role of Assistant Night Manager will involve the following: · Running the backup and night audit functions effectively at all times · Checking in and out of guests arriving and departing during the night shift · All Cashier duties · Taking over responsibilities of the Night Manager in the absence of the Night Manager We require a candidate who has the following: · A minimum of 2 years operational night experience in a 4/5* hotel · Hotel School Diploma advantageous · Cashier experience essential · Excellent written and verbal communication with people on all levels · Experienced in Property Management Systems, i.e. Fidelio Opera, MS word, Excel, Micros, Vingcard etc. · Developing and nurturing interpersonal relationships (with guests, suppliers and colleagues alike) · Employee management of up to 15 staff Person Specification: · Willingness to serve · Desire to add value · Openness, honesty and maturity · Dynamic individual with a high work ethic If you have this type of experience, then I want to hear from you......
