RESERVATIONISTS – 5* HOTEL, CAPE TOWN My client is a top 5* hotel who is now looking for a Reservationist to provide a delightful experience to all guests and clients contacting the hotel telephonically for bookings, information and general assistance. You must ensure that all requests are dealt with efficiently and accurately to the required Reservations standards. As a Reservationist, you will maintain and improve standards in all areas of Reservations, ensuring maximum room revenue is achieved. WHAT WE REQUIRE: Matric / Grade 12 is a prerequisite. 3 – 5 years Reservations or Front Desk experience preferable Hotel school diploma preferable Experience in Property Management Systems i.e. Fidelio Opera as well as MS Word and Excel Tour operator/travel agent knowledge would be an advantage Sales ability Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Refined correspondence skills and excellent command of the English language Excellent time management skills Strong organisational and administration skills Self starter and Team player Have the ability to work under pressure Enjoy anticipating and exceeding guest and client expectations Developing and nurturing interpersonal relationships (with guests, colleagues, suppliers) SALARY OFFERED: R6,500 to R7,000
