A young, dynamic company has a position available for an Area Manager.  Your first goal in this position will be to develop and implement processes to set up the different permanent, temporary and satellite vendors throughout Gauteng. The main purpose of this position is to effectively manage the day to day Operations and Customer Service of all vendors.  As well as taking full responsibility for the functionality and performance of the vendors. 

Above goal will effectively be reached through the following:

• Effective managing of Supervisors and customer service representatives including managing performance levels, assessing development and behavioural changes in such a way to ensure continues improvement.

• Identifying training needs, scheduling and managing time for development sessions as well as training the customer service representatives and Supervisors.

• Ensuring sufficient availability of stock and ensuring that the Operations are well maintained (housekeeping).

• Assessments of the permanent, temporary and satellite vendors in terms of Performance and KPI\'s

• Provide support as part of the team responsible for testing and evaluation of service levels.

You will also be responsible for effective operational Management Control, Communication and Reporting.  Your duties will include the following:

1. Visit and assess the activities of all staff at the various vendors.

2. Execution of Site Surveys, co-operation in respect to raise the usability of the graphical user interface.

3. Contact person to the landlords for all queries and needs.

4. Dealing with Customer Queries and Problems as and when they occur.

5. Analyse the Operational performance and the geographical interaction and success or non-successes.

6. Regular reporting on the performance of the sites and all activities.
