Job Details

Responsible for the execution of the sales teams plans in the trade and ensuring the achievement of the teams key performance measures.



 KEY OUTPUTS

  • Manage the in trade activities required for the achievement of sales volume and market share targets.
  • Implement national/regional promotions according the regional marketing plan
  • Achieve the retail pricing targets per the segment recommended price points.
  • Develop sound business and customer relationships.
  • Manage the rep call rate.
  • Handle Customer and Consumer complaints and queries.
  • Manage product quality.
  • Manage sales administration and reports as required.
  • Manage all  pre-call planning activities as required by the sales reps.
  • Mentoring and coaching the sales representatives in the sales team.
  • Lead a team of Account Managers/Field Reps.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum relevant 3 year tertiary qualification.
  • At least 2 yrs experience in Sales/Marketing in a FMCG environment, with at least one year experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Valid Code EB driver's licence - unendorsed.
  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Office
