 SeniorUMTS RF Engineer will be required to perform moderately difficult tasks thatrequire limited judgment and requires minimum supervision.
Responsibilities include RFOptimization (HSPA ),linking budget analysis, system dimensioning for coverage and capacity, initialsystem design and dimensioning.EssentialDuties and Responsibilities: The area of responsibility will generally cover,several of the following activities -
· Perform RF network design, planning and optimization activities including HSPA Optimization· Perform link budget analysis, design criteria and traffic analysis • Ensure data integrity of various morphology/topography databases and drivetest data for model calibration
· Undertake network performance improvement (KPIs) and optimization tasks • Undertake BSS/RNC/Node Bparameter modifications
• Analyze and recommend equipment and antenna co-location requirements fordifferent technologies
· Perform site build verification and acceptance · Perform PN planning • Responsible to resolve day-to-day issues and support regions to deliver KPIof every UMTS cluster
• Implement UMTS optimization/acceptance plan, sponsor best practices, assessand escalate system issues to RAN, Core, Data design teams
• Undertake network performance improvement (KPIs) and optimizationtasks
• Undertake BSS/RNC/Node Bparameter modifications
· Site configuration analysis• Pilot pollution analysis, parameter configuration, IRAT neighbour analysis
· Exclusion / Exception area recommendation and verification• Identify, resolve all coverage and RF design deficiencies • Good computerskills, able to work flexible hours, self- motivated and ability to work underpressure, good interpersonal skills BS or MS in Electrical Engineering,Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent.

• A minimum of 5 year workexperience in RF Optimization.
• A minimum of 2 years work experience on UMTS Optimization
