Large successful insurance group requires an individual who can lead and manage the Risk Products team as well as other core functions and teams within the Life business - in its entirety.



Large successful insurance group requires an individual who can lead & manage the Risk Products team as well as other core functions and teams within the Life business - in its entirety i.e. from conception of product/s, pricing, product spec, integrating into the IT platform and formulating all the relevant marketing material to get the respective product \'consumer ready\' and launched into the market place.  Manage the on-going profitability of the business, strategic orientation and growth.

 

 The type of individual required:

 Experience:-

  • A qualified life actuary
  • Minimum of 8 years life experience with a strong bias for product development
  • The candidate will have experience from within a similar environment with the proven ability to engage at all levels
  • Will have previously managed a division or business unit
  • Previously responsible for running and leading a team; current team is - 15 people
  • Proven ability to establish and build relationships - convert ideas to revenue streams; ultimately profits for the business
  • High degree of technical knowledge in the individual life, risk arena
  • Demonstrated credibility
