Job Details
To build and maintain profitable relationships within a designated portfolio of Business Banking clients and to provide financial solutions within acceptable risk levels.
AREA: HERMANUS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
B Degree in Finance or equivalent NQF level 6 or higher qualification
FAIS Compliance: NQF level 6 qualification
Three years FAIS experience
Five (5) years sales experience in a commercial banking environment
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
Must be able to speak Xhosa
No criminal record
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Post graduate degree in Finance or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification
Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent residents of South Africa with proof of permanent resident status
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the primary relationship with the allocated portfolio of clients and ensure the portfolio is serviced appropriately
Secure new business sales by head hunting from current and prospective clients
Review and negotiate new pricing structures with clients
Drive the growth of business through cross selling and new clients
Maintain overall ownership for servicing the client on operational matters
Attend meetings with new and target clients
Sell solutions using a diagnostic approach and through an in-depth understanding of client needs
Create a pipeline of new business by research or referrals to grow business and client base
Communicate and implement actions to improve service following client feedback
Maintain client visitation plan to ensure healthy and sustainable service
Use client feedback to enhance product and service offering
Create and maintain a client management plan, including input form product and sector specialists and credit analysts
Develop, maintain and retain a portfolio of Business Banking clients
Interact with correct role players and drive key initiatives to secure client retention and growth
Liaise with Product and Sector Specialists regarding appropriate client solutions
Manage high risk customers in conjunction with the credit team
Keep abreast of developments in the industry
Assist with development of high quality credit client solutions
Assist in communication with the client to support managing the referral listings, support reduction in credit risk
Drive the credit review process by limiting out of date financials & outstanding security items
Submit applications to credit by completing comprehensive, high quality call reports
Conduct meetings with team to maintain dialogue and sharing of information
Develop and maintain contacts
Provide feedback into the performance reviews of other members of the Relationship Team
