Position Summary:
Delivers consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final invoicing through medium- to long-term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.

Essential Functions:

• Provide the application of technical/functional skills to assist our customers and partners to create and implement successful and innovative solutions that run, manage and optimize their key business processes while decreasing costs and inefficiencies.
• Good understanding of e-commerce and web integration principles, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), middleware, or other integration experience at the enterprise level.
• Experience developing web services and an understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Familiar with Portals and Portal development.
• Work with supervision as an individual contributor and as part of a team

Requirements:

Skills:

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills with immediate client, supervisor and peers, as well as, presentation, organizational and planning skills.
• Prepare and develop appropriate systems documentation as required by client/project needs.
• Independently write, debug and test code from specifications using SAG/WebMethods tools and other tools as appropriate. Assist in analysis of complex business problems.
• Plan, prioritize, organize and implement related tasks based on individual recommendations under general direction.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Computer Science or a related field
• 0-2 years related work experience
• Industry Fortune 500 experience a plus.
• IS Software AG certification on current versions of the wM product suite (or similar) is a plus and preferred.
• Experience with three or more of the following areas: Java/C /object oriented programming - XML exposure - RDBMS (any Oracle, Informix, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase) - Unix or NT - EAI, middleware, or other integration experience - E-commerce, web servers (Netscape, Microsoft) or web application servers - CRM (Siebel, Clarify, Vantive...) - ERP (PeopleSoft, SAP, Baan, Oracle Applications, JDE) - E-Commerce (Broadvision, ATG, B2B or other) - RosettaNet - MRO Procurement, Supply Chain, or logistics business process reengineering/strategy. WebMethods or Software AG products. Tibco, SeeBeyond,Vitria a plus.
• Similar experience and education will be considered.
