The purpose of the role is to provide a comprehensive and integrated HR support service ensuring added value within the Project and Company
Responsibilities
- Maintain and implement an effective HR data system. Manage the filingsystem and records for the department.
- Ensure orientation and induction for all new employees on HR relatedissues are conducted.
- Document and update job profiles for all employees.
- Implement, support, advise, coordinate, monitor and report on PerformanceManagement System.
- Reporting - compile and distribute reports on HR activities.
- Maintain leave records and execute leave audits when required.
- Handle all HR / personnel related queries and correspondence timeouslyand escalate if needed.
- Assist in developing and implementing new and reviewing existingpolicies and procedures.
- Conduct roll-out sessions with staff.
- Distribute records to and liaise with all relevant departments withinthe Company.
- Ensure all terminations are processed timeously in that structured exitinterviews are conducted for employees, leaving and relevant documentationcompleted.
- Develop and implement a Project Employment equity plan as champion /driver of the function.
- Ensure timeous contracting and processing of employment andcompensation matters.
- Maintain and review approved manpower plan with the relevantstakeholders on a continuous basis as per the identified needs andrequirements.
- Employee relations.

Key Requirements
- A minimum of five years relevant HR generalist experience of which atleast two years should be in a Construction / Project environment.
- Extensive knowledge of all relevant employment law and methodologies.
- Computer literacy

- Handle high pressure environment
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) and organisationalskills
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Detail-orientated
Education
- Grade 12
- An appropriate relevant HR degree / diploma
- A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage
