Key responsibilities
· Develop, deliver and continuously evaluate a Resource Mobilisation strategy for Mfesane, involving key personnel
· Facilitate resource mobilisation activities including income generating opportunities/ social enterprise opportunities
· Build strategic partnerships with corporate, small to medium sized businesses, foundations and the like to access funding, in kind contributions and to increase the potential target group for income generation
· Develop and manage strategic relationships with donors, government, policy makers and other key stakeholders
· Network with relevant organizations and attend important events, where necessary in the evenings
· Assist in developing a culture of entrepreneurship at within Mfesane

Skills and qualities
Project management, Professional communication, Organised & proactive, Natural networker and relationship builder, Flair for marketing and experience building a brand
Must haves
Tertiary qualification in Development, Marketing or Public Relations
7 – 10 years professional working experience
Proven track record in Fundraising
Bilingual
South African citizen
Must be willing and able to travel
