Contract position in the Government & Local Government sector in Pretoria in South Africa (Gauteng).

Our client is seeking an experienced Manager to head up their Knowledge Management and Research department:

• To identify, develop and implement effective information and knowledge management strategies, systems, framework, operational and policies.
• Conducting and integration of research into the corporate strategy.
• Management and maintenance of relationship with stakeholders.
• Provision of leadership regarding documentation, publication and dissemination of research findings.
• Manage the knowledge management unit and resource centre of the organization.
• Develop database on relevant sources of information and a precedent system for cases in the organization.
• Assume strategic responsibility for management of information and preserve knowledge.
