Contract position in the Government & Local Government sector in Pretoria in South Africa (Gauteng).



Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager: Communication Research to perform the following duties:

• Develop, execute and manage the national and provincial events plan and calendar.
• Co-ordinate, plan and execute events and activities to publicise the services of the organisation.
• Work effectively with provincial and regional offices
• Manage procurement, logistics, guest identification, invitations, follow-up and tracking progress, supplier management, technical management, on site management and ensure smooth running of all events.
• Publicise events and generate media attendance
• Collaborate with Outreach Officers to establish rapport with stakeholders
• Collaborate and liaise effectively with all relevant organisation's stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of events and achievement of objectives
• Analyse event results and recommend appropriate cause of action
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager: Outreach, Education and Communications
